The Baseball - Hall Of Fame

David Gue is a passionate baseball historian and advocate for a fairer Hall of Fame selection process. Growing up in the Chicago suburbs, his love for the game was ignited by his grandfather, Louis Spataro, and a memorable first visit to a Cubs game in 1966. Meeting announcers Vince Lloyd, Lloyd Pettit, and Lou Boudreau sparked a lifelong passion for baseball and its rich history.

Inspired by the careers of legends like Tommy John, Buck O’Neil, and Ron Santo, David has dedicated himself to preserving and celebrating the sport. As a die-hard fan, he was motivated to advocate for revising the Hall of Fame selection process after seeing his heroes posthumously elected. David believes in using historical statistical numbers alongside BBWAA voting to make the process more transparent and fair.
